Dr. Renee Wilcox
Dr. Renee Wilcox earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1995 and brings nearly three decades of experience in small animal care to Bucksport Veterinary Hospital. Originally from the Hudson Valley in New York, she recently relocated to Maine with her husband Brian, drawn by the state's natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle.
When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Wilcox can be found exploring Maine's lakes and trails with her dogs, hitting the tennis courts, or skiing during the winter months. She and Brian have two grown children and are enjoying this new chapter of life in Maine, embracing all the recreational opportunities the state has to offer.
Dr. Wilcox is passionate about building lasting relationships with her clients and their pets, providing compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care to the Bucksport community.
